Happy Happy 30th Birthday! Your Curry year (is this a thing? If it’s not it should be. I don’t even remember if you like the Warriors). This photo is the perfect example of how aging is actually a good thing. Can you imagine running a 400 in a sprint ring now? My hips are screaming just thinking about it.
Turning 30 is a big one. I’m guessing it’s coming at a time of feeling like it’s kinda NBD (#weddingcramming from your fellow stressed bride). But I hope you give it the time and attention it deserves. One of my favorite things about birthdays is how it’s a natural time point that triggers reflection… where was I 1 year ago? How much happened this past year and what am I most excited for about the next year to come? Well we can all say pretty confidently that year 29 was your hardest one yet. We can all also say how damn resilient you are. Look what you’ve been through, and look where you are now. I can’t wait to see you boldly and confidently step into year 30. It’s going to be a good one.
You’ve always been one of the most intentional people I know — the kind of person who thinks deeply, acts with purpose, and makes everyone around you feel seen. The host who never lets their guests feel thirsty (even if they just want ice water maker 😉).
You love your people so well. Your relationship with Drew is a gift to witness and learn from.
